SEATTLE: In its first shareholder meeting as CEO of Microsoft, said Satya Nadella a message: diversity issues.
During the event 90 minutes, on 4 December in a corporate conference center in Bellevue, Washington, the CEO discussed and answered questions about how Microsoft is working to recruit, retain and promote hand -d'œuvre more varied, including that all employees are trained and alert to their unconscious prejudices.
The team of high management software company based in Redmond Washington, had taken a course like this, Nadella said.
"We will make progress each year toward building a more diverse work force and create opportunities at all levels of society for all employees of Microsoft," Nadella said at the meeting, attended by several hundred shareholders and presented a brief appearance of former CEO Steve Ballmer.
